Jin wakes to find little Ben shot and Sayid gone. Why is he bloody on the right side when he was shot on the left?

Horace knows "one of us" helped Sayid escape. Roger Linus enlists Kate's winching expertise and she makes the connection to Ben. Jin brings Ben back and Roger seems actually concerned.



Kate sings "Catch a Falling Star" (Claire's dad used to sing it to her) to a still infant Aaron and visits Cassidy and Clementine. Sawyer sent her to take care of them.




Cassidy seems bitter. That's an understatement. Questions Sawyer's motives for jumping off the helicopter and makes Kate reconsider everything so much that she confesses the lies to Cassidy.

Sawyer and Kate clash. Horace and gang check out the cell and find janitor's keys. Sawyer check with Roger, no keys. Juliet is unable to help Ben.



Miles sits on Kate, Jack, and Hurley. Miles: "You can leave, but I'll shoot you in the leg." Hurley contemplates his hand disappearing like the Back to the Future time travel paradox. Miles and Hurley's conversation is golden. Discusses what the audience has been thinking. Sawyer asks Jack to help Ben. Flat out NO.

To explain, Jack goes all man of faith and says: "Island wants to fix things itself." Kate doesn't like the new Jack, but "You didn't like the old me, Kate." Ouch. Kate goes all motherly and gives blood to Ben. Roger admits he knows Ben stole keys because of him. Now we're supposed to feel sorry for Roger. He explains, "Boy just needs his mother." Ben's health worsens.

More Hurley and Miles goodness. Essentially, our present is Ben's Past, so why doesn't Ben remember?



Juliet suggest Kate take Ben to The Others.



Marina scene again. What is this like 12? Kate storms off, stops at supermarket to get Aaron a drink and proceeds to lose him. Finds with someone who oddly looks like Claire from behind.



The aisle numbers in the store our THE numbers but backwards. Does this say something about time travel?



Sawyer catches up with Kate at the fence, calls her Freckles, and decides to help her.



Kate heads to Cassidy's and confesses more. We see Clementine.

Sawyer's helping Ben for Juliet, not Kate.

Juliet confronts Jack, "We didn't need saving."

Sawyer lets Kate know that "you and me would have never worked out" and he's grown up in the last three years. The Others appear and are told to take them to Richard Alpert.



Kate goes to Claire's Mom and tells her the truth. She didn't let her know because "I needed him." Now, she's going back to the island to find Claire.

Richard Albert recognizes Ben from previous jungle chat. If he takes him, he will not be the same, will forget, lose his innocence, and always be "one of us." Kate and Sawyer still want him to go. Richard mentions that he doesn't answer to Ellie or Charles.



Richard takes him to the Temple and Smokey!!!



Endcap: Ben awakens to Locke! "Hello Ben, Welcome to the land of the living."
