What a bizarre concept, but starring James Bond - Daniel Craig and Han Solo - Harrison Ford, plus directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man), produced by Ron Howard, Brain Grazer, and Steven Spielberg. The screenplay was written by Roberto Orci & Alex Kurtzman (Star Trek, Fringe) & Damon Lindelof (LOST!!!, Star Trek). Those are some pretty large names. How can you pass it up? Plus, the trailer looks amazing. I can even say I have read the graphic novel the movie is based on, well, I read it two years ago. I don't remember much about the story or at least that it was very dense. I do remember all the aliens spoke there own language which you couldn't read/understand and I thought that was annoying. Hope the movie has subtitles. :)
Tom: Belch, "Excuse me."
Lauren: Belch, "Excuse me."
Ethan: Fake Belch, "'scuse me."
All together: Laughter peals.
Pooh's getting a feature film next year. Old school animation which still has a place I think (Pooh in CGI, NO!) but a new story. I like the song they used for the trailer. It made me very nostalgic. However, I feel bad for Pooh. He has the rotten luck (or just insane Disney executives) because he's opening against Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II.
I was so excited about these two recent deals I made, I had to share.
The candy I purchased at CVS to give out for Halloween. Total Spent: $1.85
I used a coupon from the paper, a coupon from CVS, plus some extra bucks I had earned from CVS.
Got these 7 Hasbro games from Toys' R Us today: Cootie, Ants in the Pants, Chutes & Ladders, "Toy Story" Trouble, Memory, Candyland, and Hi-Ho Cherry-O. (Plus two Ethan size toothbrushes). Total Spent: $10.41 (However, kind of all Free pending my mail in rebate).
All 7 games were on sale. They ran a get a $10 gift card off $35 purchase of Hasbro games, but apparently the ad was wrong and that ended a couple days ago. The manager was understanding and gave me $10 off on the spot. I had a coupon for the toothbrushes. I had earned a $20 gift card for purchasing diapers a few weeks before. These got me to the $10.41, but I should get a rebate between $12 -$15 at some point for the all seven games from Hasbro .
I don't think I will keep them all for Ethan. I might give a couple away or donate them.
Awesome Deals make me smile! :)

This trailer looks gorgeous. Who knew there was such a thing as the 2010 Astronomy Photographer of the Year?
