So the current scuttlebutt (I really wanted to use that word) is that Dom will be appearing in 3 episodes as Charlie. Will that be in alternate timelines, as a vision to Hurley, or Is he Alive?

Apparently, when he showed up at the Lost panel briefly, he held up his hand and written on it was "Am I Alive?" I was too busy, trying to get a picture and failing, to notice...

Ben's hurley audition

The three promos that seem to confirm that everything has changed and Jack's plan worked.

They showed a video like this at the panel, a forgotten documentary of the Dharma Initiative. They are releasing one a month.

Today we just roamed the exhibit hall and I won a free limited edition shirt of Where The Wild Things Are/Comic Con 2009. Woo hoo! Plus lots of other free goodies and not free goodies...

We also saw but did not get pictures of Jennifer Love-Hewitt, Jamie Kennedy, and Lou Farrigno..

We got such amazing seats after waiting in line since 4 am that we decided to stay in Hall H all day long. Well worth it.

Lost was unbelievable. Here's a link to Spoiler TV for Part 1 and 2 (more to come of the panel). Unfortunately, any video on the screen could not be recorded so there are some odd cuts.

Some quick hits: Will see old faces. Definitely Faraday, Juliet, Claire, and Charlie. Trust them important questions will be answered. Michael Emerson auditioned for the part of Hurley. (Too funny). Nestor Carbonell is extremely picky about his eyeliner (also great fun). New Lost game/info at lostuniversity.org. Saw an ad for Oceanic, Hurley's Mr. Cluck's (hilarious), and Kate on America's Most Wanted. Great fan content. Brief teaser ad for final season showing LOTS of characters lined up. Most noticable, Locke was the only one facing backwards. Put final page of last episode on lockdown, Josh Holloway got it out of lock and key to find out it was the last page of the Heroes script. A video showing an In Memorium of all the characters we've lost and at the end Charlie and that's when Dom came out for the briefest of moments.

Lost Producers...

Check out this link for an explination.

Jorge and Michael asking questions of the producers...

Best picture I could get of Dominic Monahan.

James Purefoy on the Soloman King panel. A movie I had no interest in but the clips the showed interest me, darn it.

Panel for Extract, new comedy by Office Space Mike Judge, starring Jason Bateman, and Mila Kunis.

Panel for Zombieland, Director Ruben Fleischer, Jessie Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Woody Harrelson. Zombie comedy, clips made me interested.

Outside Convention Center.

video

While we were waiting in the massive line for Hall H, we happened to be behind the convention center where the "important people" come and go. Well this was right after the New Moon panel with Robert Pattison, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner. This is video of when Robert Pattison's SUV was leaving. You can hear the girls screaming and me laughing. Don't get me wrong, I love the Twilight books and movie. And I am at Comic Con for heaven's sake, so I am already a, hmm, "certain type of fan" shall we say. I still think what happens is funny though. Well, his SUV gets stuck down the road a ways because of people crossing and so at about the one minute mark you can see the two girls running down the road towards the vehicle. Poor fellow.

The line for the free shuttle that we got into at 7:30 am seemed crazy, but it wasn't really too long before we were off and running. We did get off before the Convention center because the traffic was crazy.

District 9 van. What is it for??? District 9 is new movie produced by Peter Jackson about aliens quarantined in South Africa. Sounds intriguing.

Imperial Storm Trooper, Death Star officer guy, and me.

5 time Oscar winner Richard Taylor, head of Weta Workshop, at TheOneRing.net Hobbit movies panel. Plus, a video message from the director Guillermo Del Toro. Andy Serkis, Ian McKellen, and Hugo Weaving are all but formally signed on. The two main Tolkien artists John Howe and Alan Lee and composer Howard Shore are also back on board. Peter Jackson is producing and writing along with the other writers from LOTR. Then Richard did a presentation on what's been going on at Weta. Very awesome.

Milling people.

Picture from the 5 minutes I was on the exhibit hall floor. Crazy crowded. Plus we were too busy with panels.

Alice in Wonderland Group costume.

Happened upon a panel waiting for another one that featured the new movie Quantum Quest which will feature animation along with real images from NASA space missions. Lots of scifi voices included Robert Picardo (pictured, The Doctor from Star Trek: Voyager). They also had Chris Pince (New Cpt. Kirk) talk to us via phone. It will also feature the voices of William Shatner, James Earl Jones, Mark Hammill, Hayden Cristiansen, and Neil Armstrong. It sounds pretty neat actually.

Ballroom 20 crowd behind us.

Ballroom 20 crowd ahead of us.

Eliza Dushku (Dollhouse), Sigourny Weaver, and Zoe Saldana (Star Trek's Uhura) at the Wonder Women: Icons of Pop Culture panel. They talked about women's roles in Sci-fi/Hollywood.

Signoury Weaver talked about playing Ripley in Alien which was originally written as a man.

Sigourny Weaver, Zoe Saldana, and Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost) at the Wonder Women panel.

Twilight fans waiting for the cast to exit.

Mystique from the X-men movies.

Watched a ship leaving while we were outside waiting in line.

One of the Nissians, Heroes is giving away.

The girls that chased down Rob Pattison's SUV.

We were waiting in this insane line for James Cameron's Avatar but didn't make it in (most likely because of the crazy twihards) so we decided to go to the next panel instead eventhough we (or really I) wasn't that interested in it. It turned out ok though.

Director Terry Gilliam (Monty Python) at the Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, the movie with the last performance of Heath Ledger. Looks interesting, with good people. Not so sure about the storyline. The visuals were entertaining.

Vern Troyer (played Mini Me) at Dr. Parnassus.

District 9 marketing.

Gas lamp district.

Dr. Horrible and I, but we didn't make it into the screening. Not too upset about that one.

San Diego at night.

Tom outside the Con.

Heading back to the shuttle.

Watching a crazy newscast now. The weather man is especially wacko. Tom's asleep and Elizabeth and Scott are waiting patiently for food to finally be delivered.

Plans for tomorrow: Battlestar/Caprica, The Big Bang Theory, and District 9 if we can brave the line for Hall H again.

Just walked a little bit tonight to eat at The Fish Market, mmm fresh fish. Saw people with their goody bags. Darn 4 day passers... Some highlights...

Rainout. And I will miss the make up game. Oh well.

Win: 7-5

Tough team with a guy who used to play semi-pro. We played really well. One walk, which turned into a score and one hit out. I think I only batted twice.

W: 20-10

Played Catcher again. Scored once but I walked all the bases. 1 single, left on. Others were lines drives or I got thrown out. I think I batted 5 times. The game was actually really close but we scored 10 runs in the top of the 7th. ;) Crazy...

Win: 11-3

3 line drive outs, and one walk. I walked all the way to third and then had to run Home. I like that kind of base running. ;)

Win: 20-7

Much better than last game. Plus, I played Catcher! I made one force out but then I let one score. However, I also caught a pop fly foul ball. Not too shabby. I hit two line drives that were caught, one grounder where the other base runners were thrown out, and one single but I was left on. No scores. Crazy cold, but still fun!!! And my Mom came to watch, Aww...
