We attend the greatest church here, Abiding Word Church. Their doctrine is sound. They make every attempt to get you plugged in. They are growing by leaps and bounds. We just moved into our brand new church building last fall. They have lots to get involved in and helpful classes to take. Our small group is hilariously wonderful. We play lots of board games and eat. ;) And we've met some really awesome people. I help out in the nursery (pictured above) and Tom helps with general maintenance. Ethan, unfortunately, does not like the nursery unless I am there. I hope he gets use to it soon! Then Tom and I might make it through a full service!

Hey! It's amazing. I've finally updated my other blog. Check it out!

Woah, that was a tough one. My little one year old is taking his first steps, cutely babbling away, wants to eat whatever we are eating, loves to be outside, and hates to be away from Mom except at the babysitter's and sometimes Grandparent's. He is a solid 23 lbs and 31 inches long. I am trying to let his hair grow for as long as possible but Dad wants to cut it already. :( Alas he is no longer a baby, full on toddler I believe. :)

My favorite thing to do here is go to the drive-in movie theater. The tickets and concessions are both relatively cheap. They show recent movies, Bullwinkle cartoons, the fun dancing hot dog between features. The best part is we can take Ethan with us. He just sleeps in his car seat. They have a playground for when Ethan's older. They are probably one of only a handful of theaters that have been continuously running since the 50's!!! How awesome is that! Plus, they put in a brand new projection system this year which makes the picture so much better than last year. It tended to be dark last year. They remodeled the concessions stand to a 50's diner. They have Green River sodas for goodness sake!!! Tonight we are going to see Star Trek for the second time. YEAH!!!

This wrinkly page is all that's left of my comic con magazine after Ethan got his mitts on it. Hopefully, I can find all the info on the internet. ;) Because I AM GOING TO COMIC CON baby. I've only wanted to for like 5 years since I found out about it and this is the last year LOST is on, it's THE time to go. Please pray that I will be able to get in to the LOST panel. I'm afraid I am pinning way too much on it. Anyway, Comic-Con International is a pop culture or fan convention with exhibitors and panels/speakers. It's a place to showcase upcoming work and celebrate fandom. Many people dress in costumes. Unfortunately there will be no costumes for me, trying to do this as cheaply as possible. Thankfully, we are sharing a hotel room with my cousin and her husband. I plan on checking out Lost, Chuck, The Big Bang Theory (if they're there), Iron Man 2, Thor, other Marvel movies, Browncoats, 501st Legion, Wil Wheaton, Ray Bradbury, etc... I am beyond excited. Only two more months to go!

Perhaps you've noticed I am playing softball this summer on a co-ed adult league with my church. It's been fun to get back into it after so long, 10 years. Gosh, can you believe it's been almost 10 years to the day since I've graduated? Anyway, we're 1-1 so far. I am playing designated hitter or catcher, like I mentioned before it's slow pitch, and has some crazy rules. I actually enjoyed DH-ing cause then all I have to worry about is batting.

Perhaps, B should also be for blog as I am really trying to make this more than the Ethan and LOST show it has been. ;)€

Best Movie Quotes in 200 seconds. Fun to watch. I knew most of them surprisingly. Should have included at least one line from The Princess Bride though...

This was my grandparent's (Dad's side) Armadillo. They picked it up on a vacation sometime. Who knows why? Anyway, I won/inherited it at our last family Christmas, so it sits proudly on our top bookshelf where Gidget can't bother it (for the most part). Everybody asks about it when they come visit. Hmm, when I say everybody I mean like the 3 people who have visited us. ;) Fun, random, I will miss it when it passes on to someone else next Christmas.

Loss: 14-16

We played the best team most likely (all the park district volunteers) and in the rain. I got 3 hits again, 2 outs, but at least I made it to first base once this time. ;) Yay, I improved. ;)

I saw three movies in the theater this weekend. It was awesome!!!! Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, Terminator Salvation, and Angels and Demons. None of the them were OH MY "Fill in the Blank" AMAZING, but each was entertaining in it's own way. Man, I love movies!!!

Win 15-4.

I was 3 for 3, but I got thrown out twice. I was just ecstatic that I was able to hit the ball since it has been so long since I've played. Slow pitch is so bizarre. It takes some getting used to. There are some wacko rules.

Ethan had lots of fun with his birthday party (before he got a double ear infection that night ;). Didn't care too much for unwrapping. He enjoyed the ribbon though and they toys under the wrapping. I was also all prepared for smashed cake but he was pretty tame with that as well. He would stick his hand in the icing and then lick it off. :)

Jack and Kate witness Dan's death. Widmore whacks Jack and they are captured. Eloise finds her handwriting in Dan's journal.

Richard Alpert is building a ship in a bottle (Black Rock?) in 2007. Perhaps Richard was on the Black Rock.

Locke struts in with a boar. It's been 3 years since John disappeared. Richard notices there is something different about Locke. Ben identifies Richard as an "adviser" and he's held that position for a LONG time. Sun asks Richard about the castaways in 1977. He saw them all die! Woah, I sure hope whatever happened, happened isn't true.

The compass is rusting. That's what happens when you keep looping through time. Ben's at his sarcastic best. "I'd love to come." On the errand John needs to run.

Kate and Jack discuss erasing the past as Dan suggests. Jack wants to erase the "misery" of the past. Ellie remembers Dan from when he told her to bury the bomb. She was 17 and saw him disappear. Jack consoles her by telling her that there was a way to take it all back. She agrees to take them to Jughead which is in the tunnels under Dharmaville no less.

Sawyer and Juliet are questioned by Radsinsky and gang. Wants to know where Kate and the Others are. Horace totally wusses out against Radsinsky.

Saywer's not talking but Phil hits a girl! That makes him talk, but we also know now that Phil is totally going to die. "Who's Hugo Reyes?" Implicated by association, bummer.

Hurley gathers food and meets up with Miles and Jin. Chang follows. The funniest conversation ever between Chang and Hurley.... You're 46? Chang realizes he needs to evacuate the island.

Ellie and Charles have an unheard conversation. His hand is conspicuously on her stomach. Pregnant with Dan? Love is definitely complicated...

Richard wonders where Locke has been. Will see... and then we're going to Jacob. Richard and Ben are unsure of this Locke. Lcoke tells Richard to save Locke who's about to appear with a gunshot wound from Ethan, needs to tell him he has to die.

Crazy... How did he know when? The "island" told him. Apparently, the "island" is not Jacob... Another shocker, Ben's never seen Jacob. Richard is glad John didn't have to die, oh wait, he did!

Chang walks in on the torture session. The drilling at the Swan is going down on schedule. Sawyer makes a deal that if he talks they get put on the sub.

Kate flip flops and decides to leave and go back to dharmaville. An other threatens to shoot her, but no it's Sayid to the rescue or to the next murder. Sayid claims to have changed the future by killing Ben. But wait, Ben didn't die. Kate-"since when did shooting kids, and blowing up bombs become ok" Touche.

We see Charlotte and Miles leaving the island as kids. Miles understands now.

Sawyer's plan in '77 is to buy Microsoft. Nice. Declares "Good Riddance" as he leaves the island.

Jack and gang have to swim underwater to get to the tunnels. How in the world did they get the bomb down there?

Locke wants to leave to see Jacob now. Most of the Others are here, but there is a group at the temple. What are they up to there? So who really is Jacob? Let's all go find out.

Richard: "I'm starting to think John Locke is going to be trouble."
Ben: "Why do you think I tried to kill him?"

Back on the sub, Kate joins the party. Awkward... How the blazes do they get off the sub?

Jack amazingly trusts Ellie since she's the one that told them how to get back to the island. They get to the bomb, "Now what?"

Locke's army takes off (ooo, the beach marching theme is back, haven't heard that in a while). John is not interested in being reunited with his people.

He wants to KILL Jacob. What?

2 hour season finale: "The Incident"

Ethan's ready for Lost tonight, are you?

Back to Desmond in the ER, apparently there was not magic milk. Eloise Hawking visits Penny in the waiting room to confess that it was her son's fault. Penny mistakes her son for Ben Linus. "Good Lord, no. My son is Daniel Faraday."

30 years earlier: Dan is back on the island because of Jack, Kate, and Hurley reappearing. He and Miles wake up Jack to ask HOW they got back to the island. Not their destiny, don't belong here.

Young Dan playing the piano. Mother informs him his destiny is Science and Mathematics, must give up piano. Dan knows the metronome has beat 864 times since he began (numbers). "I can make time" (to do both). "If only you could." Hmm, Daniel creating time...

Jack lets Sawyer know that Faraday's back and Sawyer shows him Phil. Poor, poor Phil.

At Orchid station, Dan consults his notebook. Declares Chang, "right on time." And we're back to the season premiere. Tells Chang to order an evacuation of the island. In 6 hours, energy from the Swan will be released and it will be catastrophic! Ok, future boy. Oh, and by the way, Miles is your son. Way to back up Faraday, Miles.

Dan graduates from Oxford. We see pre-catatonic Teresa. Mom wants lunch to themselves. Focus on work. Always pushy! Grant from Widmore. Suprise.

Gives him his special notebook, Love, Mom.

Sawyer's clan have a party's over meeting. Sub or Jungle? Twitchy Dan is on a whole new level of crazy. Dan needs to find Hostiles because one of them is his Mother...

Dan is upset by the footage of Oceanic 815, doesn't know why. Widmore visits. Dan's condition affects his memory.

(Widmore moves an issue of Wired Magazine about superhero powers. Oddly enough or not really, creator J.J. Abrams is guest editor of the current issue). Dan tested his experiment on himself first. Widmore offers him a new opportunity to go to the island, further his research, and be healed. Claims that the Oceanic was faked, by him. Old friends with Dan's mother.

Dan explains to the new arrivals that the time skipping losties met his mother Ellie in a skip to 1954. Hurley: "Fonzie times?" Classic. "Twitchy" becomes "HG Wells" and Sawyer slips up with "Freckles." Juliet fires back and gives Kate the code for the fence so Jack, Kate, and Dan can find the Hostiles while everyone else heads back to the beginning, the beach.

Dan and little Charlotte have their creepy conversation. Charlotte: "I'm not allowed to have chocolate before dinner." This was one of the things she said before she died. Dan admits that maybe, just maybe he can change things.

Dan, Kate, and Jack duke it out with Radsinsky and gang. Always aim for the fuel, fellas. Time to sound the alarm.

Memory loss Dan forgets how to play the piano. Eloise advises him to say yes to Widmore. Dan asks if it will make her proud. She says yes, but there is a definite strain in her eyes.

At the pylons, Dan tells Jack that "we can't be naive to think nothing can happen." Man, lay it on with the foreshadowing why don't you.

Saywer and Juliet still have each other's backs. ALARM!!!

The best line of the episode comes from Radsinsky: "I just got shot by a physicist!" Finally, someone finds Phil.

The catastrophic incident is what causes the Swan to get cemented over. If there's no Swan incident, there's no button, there's no Desmond, there's no plane crash, and no freighter. This loop all starts this afternoon. Dan was so focused on the constants in his equations that he forgot about the variables (the Losties). Which now means they can change things. Whatever happened to what happened, happened. Dan believes he can negate the swan energy by detonating Jughead. Oh boy...

Eloise to Penny: "For the first time in a long time, I don't know what's going to happen next."

Des recovering, promises to never leave her again. I have a feeling he's going to be breaking that one since he keeps saying it. Ellie tells Widmore to go see his daughter. Had to sacrifice that relationship, slaps him.

Dan's his son too! Woah!

Jack is "getting use to insane." Dan flashes a gun at the Hostiles, dumb. Rants about finding Eloise.

Talks to Richard Alpert, "Where's the bomb?" Seems shocked.

Gets shot by his MOM! "You knew!" Holy crap...I hope Dan comes back like Locke. ;)
