Love the ripples...

Brilliant! So glad they added that extra hour. How on earth could they have ever cut that down? They freaking moved the island. That was awesome!!!

The funniest line of the night for Tom and myself was when Locke was trying to find the entrance to the Orchid station. Ben: "Couldn't find the Antheriums, could you?" Locke: "I don't know what they look like." I think it was just the tone of his voice that made it hilarious.

So Walt's back and looks like he's about 25. Geesh. At least they can get away with him being older since it is in the future. Hurley seems to get visits from everyone. Mr. Abbandon, Jack, Walt, Charlie, Sayid, Mr. Eko??

Kate's phone call backwards speak actually says "The island needs you. You have to go back before it's too late." Yet Claire tells her not to take Aaron back. Why is the dream telling her different things?

So awesome that Desmond and Penny finally are together again. But oh Ben's going to try to kill her. Where will they hide?

And we finally find out who Jeremy Bentham is, duhn, duhn, duh, it's Locke!! Ok, how did he get off the island? How did he die? What horrible things happened after they moved it? Grr..

I saw two alternate endings they filmed in case the ending got spoiled. They showed Sawyer and Desmond in the coffin instead. Crazy...

Ethan's birthday is May 11. This makes me happy because the number 11 is my family's number. Ready for some crazy math...

My Parent's Anniversary: June 11

Hey, I've finally updated my other blog too. Check it out.

Tom, Ethan, and Gidget as always...

Grandpa and Gidget. She's obviously weirded out. ;)

Cute Booties!!!

Finally, Mom and Ethan, of course Tom had to take a picture when my hair was wet and I have no makeup on. Man, I still look pale.

This weekend Grandma and Grandpa Underwood came to visit as well as Great Uncle Tony. Unfortunately, we didn't get any pictures of Uncle Tony's visit.

Grandpa and Ethan

Grandma and Ethan

We went for a drive on Sunday and found ourselves at the Blackhawk statue.

Overlooking the Rock River.

Since I am the only one who takes pictures here. They're all of Ethan and Dad. You all will just have to bug Tom about this...

I love this one. Let's see how much we can pile on sleeping Tom. Sleeping baby, burp cloth, sleeping cat, two remotes, and a blanket over one knee!

Uncle Eric and Aunt Corryn Came to Visit

Cuddles with Dad

Get outta my face..

Gidget can't be left out..

I can't believe I have to wait two whole weeks to see Part 2. Good set up for the finale. Love the Wizard of Oz reference in the title.

The Oceanic 6 have a definate vibe to them, don't they...

We see Sayid and Nadia meet again. Sort of bittersweet isn't it, already knowing what happens to her.

I love that Sun takes over her father's company.

Poor Hurley can't escape those pesky numbers.

Hi grandma. Jack learns that Claire is his sister off island. Interesting.

And why is there a huge bomb on the frieghter? Really is this necessary? Can't wait to see what's inside the Orchid station...

Excellent Episode. Of course it was a Locke flashback so why wouldn't it be.

We see Horace Goodspeed in Locke's dream and he tells him where to go to find the cabin. The dream had this weird repeating vibe and why was he bleeding?

In Locke's flashback we see how he was born and how his crazy mother abandoned him and who should witness it but never aging Richard Alpert who shows up through out his life. What was with the objects he brought for Locke to chose from? And he invited him in High School to Mittelos Labs, Mittelos is an anagram for lost time.

Check out this drawing Locke did as a child...Hi smoky.

The island obviously had a big part in all of John's life. Mr. Abbadon shows up as an orderly and suggests the walkabout which led him to be on Oceanic 815.

And then there's creepy Claire and her dad at the end. Why would she leave Aaron, seriously?

After they wheeled me into my room, Tom was holding Ethan. Then I got to hold him and thankfully he was still in his alert after birth phase so I got to feed him. The whole breastfeeding thing is going surprisingly well. Then I think the nurses took him so we could get a couple hours sleep before the visitors started arriving after noon. That morning is a little fuzzy. Maybe we didn't sleep, I don't even remember. I do know that both sets of grandparents, Uncle Eric, and Trisha, Tina, and Theresa all came to visit that afternoon. I was on a liquid diet that day and I was pale. That evening they tried to get me up and as soon as I stood up I felt dizzy. So we gave up on that until morning. He went to the nursery that night so Tom and I could get some much needed sleep. The next morning I walked a little but still got dizzy and they had to wheel me back across the room to my bed. I think my hemoglobin was a 7 which is low I guess. So they gave me two units of blood. I felt much better after that. Then I was able to get up with help but at least I wasn't going to faint on anybody. Anyway, we got lots of good help from the nurses, watched a lot of TV, and because I was, you know, in a hospital bed, Tom changed all the diapers. ;) So I was discharged on the 14th.

Ethan at the Hospital

Ethan at Home

Ethan Thomas Lee was born May 11 at 5:25 a.m. 8 lbs 2 oz, 22 in long. Contractions started Friday night. I couldn't sleep for about 5 hours that night but finally was able to fall asleep and get a few hours. Then Sat. afternoon they started coming more regularly. So we went in to the hospital Sat night at around 7:30 p.m. They checked me out and decided to admit me. I was only 2 cm but 90% thinned out. So Tom and I walked the halls for a bit. When they checked me again I was 3-4 so I said time for an epidural. That occurred around 11:30 pm. Thankfully they let Tom stay with me while they did the procedure. It was much easier to sit still through the contractions. It kicked in pretty fast, they checked me again right after and I was at 8 cm. I wasn't feeling any pain so I slept. That was nice. Then at 2 a.m. I started pushing. I was amazed at how I could push but it helps when you only feel the pressure to and not the pain. But after pushing for 2.5 hours they decided to try the vacuum to help but it didn't. So after 3 hours, they decided to do a C section. I was not happy. So they prepped me, threw a bunch of different papers and information at me, and hauled me into the operating room. Once I got there they increased my epidural, made me lay flat on my back, and strapped my arms out at right angles to my body. This is where the worst pain of the whole ordeal occurred. My upper back wasn't under the effects of the epidural and once I was flat on my back it killed. I assume it was from the strain of pushing but it was the worst pain ever. So the delivery part went pretty fast. I could feel a lot of pulling and tugging which was bizarre. Then I could hear the little cry turn into a scream and they popped him over the curtain so I could see him real quick. Tom got a nice picture of him coming out of my innards. I won't shock you with that one but if you want to see it we have it. Then they put me back together. That took a lot longer. At one point I asked what the burning smell was and they were just like "oh it's your flesh." Lovely. When they were done they wheeled me down past the nursery so I could hold him. Tom didn't even hold him until I did. He waited. Then to recovery for a hour where Tom couldn't even visit me. That blew. Then back to an after c section room. They discovered during my surgery that my spine prominence above my coccyx is too prominent. His head was trying to go around it and there just wasn't enough room. There won't be enough room for any baby. Anyway, we know for next time and I won't have to go through 30 hours of labor.

Fresh Baby

Getting weighed. See how misshapen his poor little head is.

Getting to hold him right after surgery.
